Renewal

I am getting ready to leave town on Saturday as part of a team of women who will be hosting a Come before Winter renewal in Whitney, TX. Please pray for us as we host this event.

Pray that the amazing unity of our team will be a witness to all attending.
Pray that the participants will be able to really give themselves this week to just be with the Lord.
Pray that the obstacles of life will not interfere with the work that God is going to do.
Join me in thanking God for this incredible ministry.
Pray especially for this renewal because it is a pilot renewal - our work is usually done on the mission field, this is the first renewal to be offered on US soil.

If you want to know more about what we do, check out the website:
http://www.comebeforewinter.org/

Update: If you look at the site, you will not see me listed as a team member, because that portion of the site has not been updated.

See you in cyberspace after Oct. 12th.

Sorry, I misspelled something in my first attempt to post a comment. So, I deleted it.
Arlene,
I will pledge to pray for your trip and your time at "The Come Before Winter Retreat".
I understand 'renewal' more now than I did a month ago. Thank you for your prayers.
Jim

Arlene,
It is so great to see God working in the lives of people through blogging. I know for me you have touched and changed my life through your words and for that I am thankful. I plan on reading this other blog as well. Keep up the great job you do both with this one and the other. You do a fantstic job. You definately have gift and talent. Keep up the great work you do.

Arlene,
What a powerful ministry for women. I am going to try to get the word out and see if countless congregations will support this Godly work. I can tell it will definately touch and change lives. Donations I know will definately make a difference as well as corrispondance. If there is anything more I can do please let me know sis. God bless all you do for His Kingdom you are making such as Kingdom difference.

Arlene,
I think God allowed me to write, now. My most recent blog item feels pretty good to me.
Jason, Russ and Preacherman, all said it was a good blog entry!
