We were married a little older, both Bible majors and then David did a graduate degree in Christian Ed. I worked for Jack Reese and Charles Siburt as a student worker and David worked for Jim Mankin and then Ian Fair as a student worker. We are from South Africa. One thing I did to help me relax and heal faster after surgery was to make a tape/recording of relaxing music that lasted about an hour or so and then I got permission to listen to it during the procedure. It was playing when I went under and it was still on when I began to come to. Practice relaxing with the music playing several times a day and you'll be surprised how fast you find yourself relaxing before your surgery.

Bless you and your family. I will keep you in my prayers. I know you will feel so much better when this is over and that God has wonderful things planned for you!

If you would like to talk about your surgery, please get my number from Angela and call me. I'd love to talk to you!

DanaDanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17482465094033238968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10246373.post-1140281809336564882006-02-18T08:56:00.000-08:002006-02-18T08:56:00.000-08:00Keeping you close in thought and prayer! I understand the anxiety you are experiencing. I had not been under for surgery until a couple of years ago. Last week I again went under the scalpel. I know God is a God of peace and I know how important peace is. Anxiety and worry are only flags to let us know God is in control, and therefore we must give every thing over to him. I will pray that God will give you and your family peace no matter were the other side is.Clinthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06200191798951391535noreply@blogger.com
